Built in 1267 Moignes Court is the oldest inhabited house in Dorset.
We are Ralph and Dizzi Cree. We are the 7th generation of Cree family to inherit Moignes Court.
Our aim is to share this beautiful, historic building and gardens with families so they can create magical memories and be inspired my the heritage and history of the building.
Moignes court has a beautiful drawing room with an open fire place, A family TV room with wood burner, a lovely south facing dining room and kitchen plus 4 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms.
Sleeps 11 people
Moignes Court is split into 2 halves. You have private and sole use of one half of the building.
Moignes court sleeps 11 people andthe east wing annex sleeps 4 If you would like to book both parts of the eouse then please enquire. The two halves can be joined by unlocking an internal door.
Moignes Court is set within 5 acres of grounds. You have a massive private garden plus access to the shared play garden which is shared with other guests. We have a bus, horsebox lorry and yurt on Airbnb in the grounds. These other accommodations are in separate private areas.

Outside, families can enjoy access to the large shared play garden, complete with, climbing nets and climbing frame, playhouse, sand pit, mud kitchen sports area, board games room and fire pit. There is plenty of space for children to play and explore, making it an ideal destination for families. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our private woodland walk just across the road, perfect for dog walks, den building, wildlife spotting and family adventures.
Located just 15 minutes from Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, the East Wing provides a truly unique base for exploring Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast while enjoying the atmosphere of one of the county’s most historic homes

when you book Moignes Cour you get exclusive access to a private garden area with your own Fire Pit, BBQ, Dining area under the Pergoda and an Our door lounge area, All lit up with festoon lights its the perfect place to unwind and relax in the evening. You also get exclusive use of the whole front lawn and we provide lawn games like croquet and Kubb (viking chess) for your families entertainment
